In the midst of Chatkal and At-Oinok mountain ranges (western Tiesh-Shan) the freshwater lake of Sary Chelek found its place. Located at the altitude of 1878 meters at the territory of National Sary Chelek Biosphere Reserve the lake is considered as a safeguarded and protected zone spread around 20,000 hectares. The Biosphere Reserve is a habitat for over 1,000 various plants and rare mammals. After a certain uphill approach the lake of Sary Chelek comes into view at 1,940 m above sea level. There are numerous ancient legends about the formation of the lake which stands for “Yellow Ladle”. However, first and foremost important feature of this place is the nature and surroundings of the beautiful territory which keeps attracting many guests from far abroad. • Visit to the sacred mountain Sulaiman-Too;
• Travel to the biosphere reserve of Sary Chelek (~5hrs ride);
• Accommodation at the guest house run by local family in Arkit village;

• Transfer to Lake Sary Chelek (~18km)
• The lake is spread across 7.5km from southwest to northeast. The deepest point is approx. 234 meters. Due to such depth the temperature inside the lake does not exceed +18 C even in summer times and it gets to around +4 C – 0 C in winter times.
• Picnic by the lake shore.
• Getting back to guest house and for dinner.
• Travel back to Osh city;
• Once back visiting the colorful Central Bazaar in Osh.
